The Butterfly Effect is a phenomenon whereby a small change in one place can have large effects elsewhere.
ArtsUP! LA is proud to present, “The Butterfly Effect” – an unforgettable in-school assembly experience for students featuring scenes, songs, and personal stories by visually impaired individuals from Theatre by the Blind. Students will experience the following:
“The Butterfly Effect” highlights how the performing arts can help visually impaired individuals push the limits of their disability, while inspiring students to overcome their own challenges and affect positive change in their communities.

- Blind-Folded Stage Navigation on Textured Mats
- Sight-Guiding Exercises with Students Volunteers
- Moderated Question & Answer Session with the Actors
- Introduction and Discussion about Techniques for Interacting with the Blind
