HAPPY NEW YEAR
FROM ARTSUP! LA

ArtsUP! LA is proud to celebrate 22 years of providing arts programs in LA! We accomplished a lot IN 2025, serving over 1500 participants and our goal for 2026 is to serve 2000. Theatre by the Blind premiered The Enemy of Oz, an imaginative adaptation of the screen classic while Rex & Friends presented their original holiday show, Heart of the Holidays and performed live at the Salute to Recreation Family Festival. Veterans Empowerment Theatre brought the plight of homeless veterans to light in, Soldier to Soldier and we launched the Veteran Short Film Project, a ground-breaking partnership with veteran focused organizations across LA. Creative Youth Theatre expanded into the Glendale Unified School District, serving more than 1,200 students through inclusive arts education programs focused on creativity, confidence, and collaboration while The Butterfly Effect completed ten performances across schools, community centers, and assisted-living facilities throughout LA. ArtsUP! Studios augmented our web series What’s Up LA! and we’ve strengthened our presence within the Culver City arts community by partnering with local groups at our theater space, The Blue Door.
